last august alain has climbed the torre agbar in barcelonna all the way to the top and then he has had to go down by the same way as there was no possibility to enter inside the building... Eventhough the ascent was quite easy, he has had to climb the building carefully for not damaging the structure obviously fragile... Once he came back at the bottom he has been welcomed by the cops who told him that he was not under arrest!!!
One Houston Center, Texas USA november 22th 2005
His attempt in houston texas to climb the one houston center building has abortted due to some media who had tipped the houston police departement... He has only climbed two meters before being grabbed by the ankle in a very tough manner before he got handcuffed and charged for criminal trespass...
Taïpei 101,Taïpei december 25th 2004
Alain robert has climbed successfully the 508 meters of taipei 101 in taiwan still considered as the highest building on earth! Unfortunately alain was injured and he has had to do the ascent with 15 stitches operated in emergancy 6 days before the ascent... On that day the weather was really bad and he has completed the ascent with some heavy rain and a very strong wind... Fortunately the main request from the organising cometee was to climb the building with a rope... Two year later taipei 101 is open to let alain,s climb the building without the help of any kind of safety devices and hopefully he will get te approval by the end of 2007.
Alain climbs the Tour ELF wearing this sign : « NO WAR» to show his opposition. Despite the date, it was no April fool’s joke.
The event is set up to celebrate the opening of an international convention in which Alain will take part as a speaker. This is the biggest event ever organized in Abu Dhabi : 100,000 spectators. Amazing !
« Climbing on request is like giving a concert. It’s a show but I’m not Mike Jagger, I can’t have 100,000 spectators ! » Alain was wrong…to his audience’s great delight.

highest skyscraper in Venezuela, dressed as Spiderman. Live broadcast
on Venezuela’s national channel.
The show « Sabado fantastico » is watched by over 10
million viewers.

Twin Towers Kuala Lumpur March 20th 1997
A 451-meter-high tower, 88 floors. The highest building on earth. Alain
Robert has been dreaming about it for years, but he fails. The police
opened a window and caught him, 340 meters from the ground.
Center
Point Sydney February 27th 1997
A 330-meter-high tower, with only a few stories on the top part.
So Alain Robert will have to climb up cables and, for the first time,
he asks for some protection. He is strapped to the shrouds, sliding
along. Spiderman in action ! On the first platform, 150 meters from
the ground,he is arrested by the Rescue Police : in jail for 24 hours,
Alain
is fined $1,500.
Tour Eiffel Paris December 31st 1996
New Years’ Eve. 11.15 p.m. Alain Robert decides to climb the west
face, planning to reach the top at midnight sharp. Extreme atmospheric
conditions : it’s absolutely freezing, and for the first time
Alain must slip a pair of mittens on his fleece gloves.
« After all, the Tour Eiffel is nothing but a big ladder ! »

A golden 48-story tower. Another easy climb (only 25 minutes). Alain Robert is taken to the police station but they don’t handcuff him. The police seem impressed by such boldness. The judge asks him to promise not to do it again in Hong-Kong for a period of one year. Since that day his Chinese fans like to call him « Climbing Bruce Lee » !
Tour Montparnasse Paris January 17th 1995
A storm is raging over Paris. There’s a strong, icy wind… Still, Alain Robert will climb this 210-meter-high tower. He’s left completely dehydrated. On the 29th floor, a fireman opens a window, gives him a bottle of water. Despite the cold (his hands and fingers are frozen) Alain Robert reaches the top after a one-hour-and-twenty-minute struggle.
