Climbing Ratings

The rating of a climb is an indication of the technical difficulty of a route. The French rating system uses numbers (1>9). Obviously it does not take the notion of risk into account, it is only about pure difficulty.

Difficult : 5a, 5b, 5c, 6a, 6b, 6c.
Extreme : 7a, 7b, 7c, 8a, 8b, 8c, 9a, 9b, 9c.
